The fate of two WWE championships will be decided on WWE Raw in Paris next week.
We will get one step closer to learning who will be the next holder of the Women’s World Championship on WWE Raw in Paris. Adam Pearce will reveal who will face
No.1 contender Stephanie Vaquer for the vacant championship during the Paris edition of WWE Raw.
On
WWE Raw in Birmingham, Vaquer was confirmed to still be No.1 contender. We will find out her competitor next week, but we might have to wait a little while for the actual match.
But one title will be on the line next Monday in Paris.
WWE Intercontinental Championship Defended on WWE Raw in Paris
Dominik Mysterio will be forced to
defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship at the Paris La Défense Arena the night after WWE Clash In Paris in the same arena. AJ Styles will get a shot at Mysterio, whom he has been stalking for the past few months.
Mysterio retained his championship against Styles at WWE SummerSlam and hoped that would put his issues with him to bed. But Styles has continued to make Mysterio’s life difficult as he seeks a second reign with the gold he held in 2020 for 87 days.
Styles interfered in JD McDonagh’s match against Dragon Lee on WWE Raw tonight. Mysterio had given McDonagh the advantage when he tripped Lee. But Styles appeared at the ringside and smashed Mysterio into the ringpost and then into the Birmingham crowd. The chaos helped Lee pick up the win.
Styles has made Mysterio’s life a living nightmare in the US, Mexico, and now the UK. Next week, he gets the chance to end it all in Paris.
Meanwhile, WWE Raw in Birmingham also saw confirmation of two anticipated WWE Clash In Paris matches. Becky Lynch will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Nikki Bella.
Roman Reigns will also face the Tribal Thief Bronson Reed at Clash In Paris.
