Former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest is receiving a different type of heat than he’s used to. The 2023 Money in the Bank winner is the subject of social media speculation, with rumors swirling of a romance with a fellow WWE star.
Appearing on Good Morning New York earlier this week, co-hosts Rosanna Scotto and Curt Menefee didn’t hesitate to ask Priest about a social media post that has got the WWE Universe talking. “Everybody was talking about who you brought to the Yankees game the last time,” began Scotto.
Priest retorted quickly, struggling to suppress a giggle or two, “Oh, well, I don’t know about all that. No comment, no comment.” The WWE star who may or may not be romantically linked to Priest is NXT wrestler and former mixed martial artist Lola Vice. The rumors started to gain traction after Vice posted a picture of the two of them on social media. As Scotto revealed, Priest and Vice were attending a New York Yankees game.

Despite not denying that he’s dating Vice, Priest remained professional during the interview. The four-time WWE tag team champion is clearly trying to keep his wrestling career and his private life separate. And with WWESummerSlam less than three weeks away, Priest will want to be on his best behavior.
Is Damian Priest set for a SummerSlam date with Aleister Black?
Last year, Damian Priest was involved in one of SummerSlam’s central storylines. The Archer of Infamy shockingly lost his world title to Gunther following a betrayal by long-time stablemate Finn Bálor. While Priest has yet to be confirmed for a match at WWE SummerSlam, his opponent could very well end up being Aleister Black.
Tensions between Priest and Black came to a head on SmackDown last week, with Black taking out his frustrations backstage on the peacemaker Priest. Moments prior to the attack, Black had lost his unbeaten streak to R-Truth via a surprise rollup pin.
Lola Vice, meanwhile, is moving from strength to strength on NXT. Vice romped to victory with Stephanie Vaquer in a tag match at last month’s historic AAA/WWE Worlds Collide event. She also looked impressive in WWE Evolution’s 20-woman battle royal last Sunday, finishing seventh.
