Gabe Kidd Looks to Smash Yota Tsuji’s Reign
Yota Tsuji defends the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship against Gabe Kidd in what promises to be a brutal, emotionally charged encounter. Tsuji’s combination of athleticism and power has made him a standout champion, but Kidd’s raw aggression and unpredictability make him a serious threat. Tsuji and Kidd thrive on intensity, and this matchup has the makings of a hard-hitting affair.
Kidd will undoubtedly look to turn this into a scrap, testing Tsuji’s composure under pressure. Tsuji, meanwhile, will aim to counter Kidd’s chaos with calculated precision. With championship gold on the line, expect a clash that blurs the line between a wrestling match and a fistfight.
David Finlay and EVIL’s Violent Reckoning
David Finlay and EVIL are set to settle their grudge in one of NJPW’s most unforgiving stipulations – the Dog Collar Chain Deathmatch. With both men literally chained together, there’s no room for escape and nowhere to run once the bell rings.
Riding a wave of violent momentum, Finlay will take the opportunity to dismantle EVIL with intense brutality. EVIL, notorious for his underhanded tactics and willingness to inflict pain, won’t hesitate to bend the stipulation to his advantage. Expect weapons, blood, and unrestrained malice as these two wage war at close quarters.
Konosuke Takeshita and Oleg Boltin’s Grudge Match
Konosuke Takeshita and Boltin Oleg meet for the third time, with the score tied at one win apiece. Oleg stunned the wrestling world by defeating Takeshita during the G1 Climax 2024, a result no one saw coming. Takeshita evened the rivalry at The New Beginning in Osaka earlier this year.
Now, with the NEVER Openweight Championship once again at stake, both men are out to settle unfinished business. Takeshita, currently the most successful champion in the title’s history, brings unmatched big-match energy and experience to Osaka-Jo Hall. Oleg, however, knows he can beat ‘The Alpha’ – and this time, the prize is even greater.
It’s a battle of powerhouses, and it is one that could define Oleg’s future or further solidify Takeshita’s growing legacy.
