Injured Star Returns After 9 Months on WWE Raw

The New Day was itching for a shot at the World Tag Team Championship. However, Adam Pearce was not willing to hand them an opportunity. On WWE Raw, live in London, Pearce would recruit a mystery tag team to test the worthiness of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. That team would turn out to be the New Catch Republic, which, of course, consisted of Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne.

Dunne has been holding down the fort since Tyler Bate went down with an injury last July 2024. Despite all the concerns about Bate’s health, the former inaugural NXT UK Champion put those fears to rest, showcasing a quintessential British Strong Style offense alongside Pete Dunne.

The “new” New Day had their hands full on WWE Monday Night Raw, and that’s no surprise. The New Catch Republic is considered one of the most physical tag teams the roster has to offer. With Bate now back, the WWE Monday Night Raw tag team division should prepare for The New Catch Republic as they go on the hunt for gold.

What did you think of the return of Tyler Bate and The New Catch Republic on WWE Raw?
