Wrestlers in the ring on an iMPACT taping prior to TNA Sacrifice

iMPACT! After The Bell (2/27/25): The Road to TNA Sacrifice

If you carefully read my preview of TNA iMPACT!, you know now if Nygma’s crystal ball was right or wrong. It’s now time to analyze what happened and what it means for the coming weeks, especially with all the crossover matches set to happen at NXT Roadblock on March 11 and TNA Sacrifice on March 14.

Deadly Alliances on the Road to TNA Sacrifice

The Colons and The System

I was saying The Colóns seemed to be on The System’s side. The crystal ball was right. The System was in the ring to address JDC’s victory over Leon Slater last week and Moose’s upcoming NXT Championship opportunity against Oba Femi at NXT Roadblock. Myers said The Colóns may be System material. Something Eddie and Orlando confirmed, as they want to fight with The System. As a result, you would not be surprised to read that The Colons helped The System win their match against Oba Femi and The Hardys.

Best of the Rest

The Death Machine Needed a Street Fight

Of course, Sami Callihan couldn’t resist. He took a chair to attack Mance Warner and gave him the win via DQ. And yes, at TNA Sacrifice, we will have a Street Fight. The only way to be sure it will end up the right way is to let them push themselves to the limit. That means chairs, garbage bins, thumbtacks if necessary, some blood. I don’t want anything else.

At Moose’s speed

Moose will compete in 2 gigantic matches the same week. On March 11 at NXT Roadblock, Moose will challenge NXT Champion Oba Femi. And, at TNA Sacrifice 3 days later, Jeff Hardy will challenge Moose in a Ladder match for the X-Division Championship. That would be a lot for any wrestler, but remember Moose is not any wrestler.

Santana, Tessa, Maclin, and the others

  • Mike Santana may have defeated NXT’s Oro Mensah, Mustafa Ali is still reminding him of his past demons.
  • Tessa Blanchard finally competed against Kelsey Heather, so Santino Marella made a match at Sacrifice between Lei Ying Lee and Tessa.
  • Steve Maclin defeated KC Navarro and talked about returning to Full Sail University.
  • Ash and Heather by Elegance are the Personal Concierge of Dani Luna and Jody Threat for 24 hours.
  • Of course, Wes Lee and his sidekicks cost Ace Austin his match against Frankie Kazarian. Ryan Nemeth reminded the world that his big brother, Nic Nemeth, will return to TNA Wrestling in 15 days at Sacrifice.

The Nygma’s Last Word(s)

It was Santino Marella’s party time last night. He made 4 matches for Sacrifice. He appeared at ringside many times, but also backstage. I tried to analyse as much as I could, but this episode was not the best to. TNA Wrestling is setting up for TNA Sacrifice, some matches have to be made. Some storylines are in the making. The NXT/TNA partnership has also changed the creative dynamic I was used to before. The Nutcracking spirit that has been my signature for many years now makes me say to you, don’t fall in the apples too fast (French way to say not to faint), that’s just a Nygma point of view…

Card for TNA Sacrifice

  • TNA X Division Championship Ladder Match: Moose vs. Jeff Hardy
  • TNA Knockouts Championship Match: Masha Slamovich vs. NXT’s Cora Jade
  • Street Fight: Sami Callihan vs. Mance Warner
  • Joe Hendry, Matt Hardy, Elijah & Two TBA vs. JDC, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards & The Colons
  • Tessa Blanchard vs. Lei Ying Lee
  • NXT’s Tyson Dupont, Tyriek Igwe & Wes Lee vs. Ace Austin & The Rascalz
