-
- Paul Heyman kicked off the night, celebrating Roman Reigns’ win on the first WWE Raw on Netflix. As the “Only Tribal Chief,” Heyman made it crystal clear, addressing Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, that Roman fully intends to take back what he feels is his. Not long after that, we hear Kevin Owens from the crowd, who is taking shots at Rhodes. He told the WWE Universe that Cody should’ve just let Roman Reigns “die” when The Bloodline fell apart. Cody Rhodes would then appear in the crowd and start beating Owens up. In the ring, Heyman would be surrounded by Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. Thankfully, Jimmy Uso would come to his aid, and not long after, Cody Rhodes as well.
- After the break, we see security trying to escort out Fatu and Tonga, with a little help from LA Knight.
- Next up was one Michin vs. Chelsea Green for the Women’s United States Championship. The action started hectic, as expected. Just as Michin was controlling the match, Piper Niven proved to be the difference-maker, causing a costly distraction. Michin would hit the Cross Body, but Green rolled over and pinned her with tights in hand to retain the title.
- To be one step closer to a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship, Los Garza and Pretty Deadly go to battle. After a spirited match, the bout ended when Santos Escobar interfered in the match, allowing Los Garza to capitalize on the opportunity to pick up the victory.
- After that exciting tag team match, LA Knight comes out to face Shinsuke Nakamura in hopes of reclaiming the United States Championship. As expected from these two, they tore the house down. Unfortunately, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga would exact their revenge and attack LA Knight just as he was about to regain the U.S. Title, effectively leading to a no-contest. The New Bloodline would proceed to punish Knight. Once again, Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso would be there to ward off the dogs. Instead of having Fatu and Tonga escorted out again, Rhodes said that he and Jimmy were ready to fight. Not long after, Nick Aldis would greenlight a tag team match for tonight.
- Motor City Machine Guns defeated A-Town Down Under in an excellent display of the SmackDown tag team division. MCMG would pick up the win after hitting Skull and Bones, bringing them another notch closer to a Championship Rematch with #DIY.
- New WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton came out to celebrate her successful cash-in on Nia Jax. Of course, the celebration was bound to not go off without a hitch, with Nia Jax followed up by Bayley and then Naomi and Bianca Belair issuing their claim for a shot at the gold. It all went sideways after that, as all the women in the ring brawled. In the end, Stratton would hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to stand on top. Unfortunately, Nick Aldis spoiled her party too, announcing a Fatal-Four Way between the would-be challengers to determine the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Title, then and there. It was chaotic from start to finish. Once the dust settled, with a Rose Plant, Bayley pinned Naomi to become the number one contender.
- For the main event, Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu take on Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso. There was no love lost between the two sides, with everyone pulling out all the stops to pick up the win. The match was going well for Rhodes and Jimmy. Unfortunately, Kevin Owens would enter the fray, and Cody would run after him in the back, leaving Jimmy to fend for himself. Jacob Fatu capitalized and hit the Double Jump Moonsault to pick up the main event victory for his team. The fight between K.O. and the “American Nightmare” would escalate, concluding in Rhodes hitting a tackle on Owens off the top of the production equipment onto the tables on the floor.
