Plus, we deal with the fallout from last Saturday’s PLE. Get ready for another week-ending dose of the best professional wrestling and sports entertainment! Here’s a preview of this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Let’s run it down.
Announced for WWE SmackDown:
- WWE Women’s United States Title Tournament – First Round: Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Elektra Lopez
What We Expect from WWE SmackDown:
- The Original Bloodline and The New Bloodline Discusses What Went Down In The Men’s WarGames Match.
On to the Semis
Naomi, Elektra Lopez, and Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton have the opportunity to secure the final semifinal spot in the WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament. We’re just a little under a week until Saturday Night’s Main Event, where we’ll see the inaugural champion crowned.
If anyone wants a taste of gold on SmackDown, it’s definitely these three women. Elektra Lopez has been chomping at the bit to make a huge impact on the main roster. How big would it be for her to be the first holder of this new title?
Naomi, on the other hand, has yet to be successful in her quest for the WWE Women’s Championship. If she wants to add more hardware to her already impressive resume, she will need to win over these two women, which will be challenging.
As for Tiffany Stratton, if she had decided a minute earlier at Survivor Series, she would probably be a world champion by now, but she can’t dwell on the past and must look ahead to the future where the Women’s U.S. Title might be waiting for her.
Something’s got to give this Friday night. Who will come out on top and advance to face Michin in the next round?
Let’s all collectively find out this Friday night on WWE SmackDown, airing live only on the USA Network!
