Damage Controlled?

Heading into probably the biggest match of her career, Bayley is probably at her lowest point. The founder of Damage CTRL, one of the best factions of the last two decades, the number one contender is now left without anyone to lean on weeks out from the ‘grandest stage of them all.’

Last week on, SmackDown, Bayley was supposed to handicap Damage CTRL with the help of Dakota Kai. Unfortunately, IYO SKY and The Kabuki Warriors had Kai in their back pocket all along, This series of events practically destroyed Bayley, leaving her to fend for herself.

That said, Bayley is not going down without a fight. On this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Bayley goes toe-to-toe with Kai. How will this pan out for the Royal Rumble winner? Will a concerned Naomi and a less-than-inclined Bianca Belair have anything to do with the proceedings?

After months on the shelf, Rey Mysterio makes his official return to Friday nights, and he has some unfinished business with Legado del Fantasma. The heir apparent to the luchador throne Dragon Lee was in action against Angel on last week’s episode of SmackDown, which saw him pickup the win.

Unfortunately for Lee, Santos Escobar, and his crew knew that the LWO was not in the building that night and proceeded to put the beat down on the former NXT North American Champion. With Mysterio back in the fold, how will the former multiple-time World Champion respond to these heinous acts courtesy of Legado Del Fantasma?

Also, on this week’s SmackDown, if rumors are correct, The Rock may have something special in store for the Memphis crowd. Particularly, a certain musical endeavor could be in the cards for the WWE Universe this Friday night.
