Preview: AEW Dynamite (02/14/24)

AEW Dynamite Match Card

We have another awesome card to look forward to on this week’s AEW Dynamite! Outside the ring, we’ll have AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm’s newest film premiere. Also, we’ll hear from AEW World Champion Samoa Joe and his opponents for Revolution in Swerve Strickland and “Hangman” Adam Page.

Kicking off in-ring action, former friends collide as Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale face off. AEW TNT Champion and “Father of the Year” Christian Cage will have a better idea of his next challenger as his former friend “Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland and Daniel Garcia battle it out to earn a shot at the belt. Our focus will be on tag team action as Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) battle the AEW EVPs Matthew and Nicholas Jackson in a match that could determine the next challengers for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Will Matthew and Nichols keep their word or abuse their power?

Former AEW World Tag Team Champions Matthew and Nicholas Jackson have been reinvigorated since their return. They’ve also had their sights set on the newly crowned AEW World Tag Team Champions Sting and Darby Allin. The Jacksons made their intentions clear when they assaulted the champs fresh off their title win on last week’s AEW Dynamite.

Top Flight has been on a pretty solid run since Dante’s return from injury, and having Action Andretti in their corner has given all three men a solid boost in momentum. Its Top Flight’s recent rivalry with Private Party (Isaiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) will have the biggest impact on this match.

Kassidy and Quen have plenty of motivation already to interfere and cost Top Flight a title shot. It would not be surprising to see Matthew and Nicholas use their power to persuade Private Party even more. The AEW EVPs will walk away with the win to set up a match for Revolution, but it will not be clean. Top Flight will still look like a force and have a great showing. Be sure to tune in because it will be a phenomenal night of action!
