After an exhilarating post-Royal Rumble edition of WWE SmackDown, comes another action-packed edition of everyone’s favorite Friday night sports entertainment program. On this week’s Friday night fight night, we will crown the number one contender for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships, held by Damian Priest and Finn Balor of The Judgment Day.

Plus, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis make it official regarding the next challenger for the social media megastar United States Championship. There’s so much more in store for this week’s SmackDown, so buckle up!

Here’s a preview of the latest iteration of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Let’s run it down.

Meeting “The Maverick”

One successful titled defense sent U.S. Champion Logan Paul’s ego into the stratosphere. To be fair, he did win over one of the best WWE has to offer in the form of Kevin Owens, albeit in a very controversial fashion.

Paul walked into Alabama with his held high and the title still in hand. Unfortunately for him, even though he’s slain Owens, the “Prized Fighter” is not done with him.

KO showed that he would do whatever it took to wrestle away the gold from Paul, knocking Grayson Waller and his opponent for the night Austin Theory with the same brass knuckles that got him disqualified.

Only this time, he didn’t get caught, and now Logan is fully aware of the depths Owens will go to. After Owens’ win over Theory, ‘The Maverick’ marched into Nick Aldis demanding an opponent not named Kevin Owens.

On this week’s SmackDown, Aldis will unveil who will be the next competitor to step in for Logan Paul’s coveted hardware. Who could it be?

Punching a Ticket to Perth

Pete Dunne and the ‘Big Strong Boy’ Tyler Bate earned themselves the privilege to become the number one contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titled last week on SmackDown, after defeating top teams such as the LWO, Pretty Deadly, and, Legado del Fantasma.

They’re one win away from challenging The Judgment Day at Elimination Chamber. That is if they can overcome DIY. Like Dunne and Bate, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa went through hell and back on this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw, coming out victorious in their own Fatal-Four Way Match.

Considering the skill and determination both of these teams exhibit, there’s really no telling who’s going to walk Friday night as the new challengers for Balor and Priest.

Find out this Friday night, and a lot more only on Fox!
