With just over two weeks to go until the Deadline PLE, this week’s episode of WWE NXT can be expected to have a significant focus on the build to that. Two championships are on the line, more Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying competition, and more exciting matches. Here is all you need to know ahead of the November 21 edition of NXT.

Lyra Valkyria Grants Xia Li Her NXT Title Opportunity
Lyra Valkyria is coming up on a full month as the NXT Women’s Champion after defeating Becky Lynch for the gold on night one of Halloween Havoc. Xia Li has been chasing after that particular gold since Lynch took it over to Raw, and although the title has changed hands, Li’s mission has remained the same – to claim the championship and make it her own.
On the November 14 edition of NXT, Li invited Valkyria to a Warriors Tea Ceremony. It was a heated yet respectful confrontation and final face-off as the two had a war of words. They finally agreed to settle it in the ring, and this promises to be an exciting clash of styles as the two battle it out for the chance to reign supreme over the NXT women’s division.
Noam Dar Defends The NXT Heritage Cup Against Gable
The November 14 WWE NXT featured a special edition of Supernova Sessions as Noam Dar and the rest of Meta-Four hosted Alpha Academy. The two sides have been involved in segments with each other, and it has provided an intriguing blend of personalities, to say the least.
Dar has become synonymous with the NXT Heritage Cup and has managed to hold onto the cup. On November 21, Dar faces his toughest challenge yet as he goes up against the accomplished leader of Alpha Academy, Gable. He came close to defeating Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship before, and now he looks to claim the NXT Heritage Cup that he has never held in his career.
Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Matches Continue
WWE legend JBL was the one set to make the picks for this week’s competitors for the Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying matches. These athletes compete for a chance to participate at Deadline, but before that, they have to just make it through one other equally determined athlete. The women’s side will see Blair Davenport going up against Chase U‘s Thea Hail. The men’s side will pit former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes against Josh Briggs.
