Skye Blue Returns Home

Skye Blue has had an incredible month. She competed against Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship recently on Dynamite and picked up a pinfall over the champion in a tag match at the first-ever AEW Collision. To make things even better, she picked up that win at the United Center in her hometown with her family in attendance at ringside.

Now Skye Blue will return to her hometown (or just outside of it) to take on another hometown wrestler in Heather Reckless. The last time Heather was in a Warrior Wrestling ring she came up short against Miranda Alize. She would love nothing more than to even up her Warrior record against Skye at Friday Night Lights. Heather is no stranger to AEW herself as she made several appearances on AEW Dark. The two have locked up more than once in singles, tag, and mixed tag action in CSW and F1rst Wrestling. Now the two will lock up in a Warrior ring for the first time, under the lights.

Lucha Championship Action

Gringo Loco shocked El Hijo Del Vikingo at Warrior Wrestling 29 in Grand Rapids Michigan. Gringo Loco cashed in his medallion just minutes into the match between Vikingo and Arez. Gringo won the match by pinning Arez and walked out of Grand Rapids as the new Warrior Wrestling Lucha Champion. Now he will make his first defense at Warrior Wrestling 30.

The situation is similar to that at Warrior Wrestling 29. The champion does not have to be pinned to lose the championship. This time though, the match will be a three-way from the start.

The third piece of this puzzle will be Gabriel Fuerza. He will be making his Warrior Wrestling debut in this match and has the chance to send shockwaves through the promotion. He has the opportunity to walk out of Warrior Wrestling with a title around his waist, after his first match with the promotion. To make things even more interesting, Gringo Loco could lose the title the very same way he won it. Who will walk away from the 50-yard line with the Lucha Championship? Find out on June 30th.

KC Navarro has been the Warrior Wrestling Champion for over a year now. His last defense was against Jordan Oliver at Warrior Wrestling 29 in the same town where he won the title, Grand Rapids Michigan. He picked up the win over Oliver without the help of Frank the Clown and the rest of FTC LLC. Will he be able to do the same when “The Indy God” Matt Cardona returns to Warrior Wrestling?

Cardona has been collecting belts from all over the independent wrestling scene. Now he looks to add the Warrior Wrestling Championship to his ever-growing collection. Cardona was last in a Warrior Wrestling ring in 2021 when he competed as part of the Stadium Series. He picked up a win over Warrior Wrestling veteran Sam Adonis in that match. Cardona is looking to go 2-0 in the promotion and bring home some gold in the process.

Will “The Indy God” continue his winning ways? Will KC continue his year-long reign? Will FTC LLC get involved? We will find out at Warrior Wrestling 30.
