Former New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) roster member Jay White made his return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) tonight on Dynamite. The free agent appears to have found his new home in AEW and appears to be part of the roster moving forward.

White appeared at the start of Dynamite. Ricky Starks was set to take on Juice Robinson in the opening contest. White jumped Starks and a two-on-one beatdown commenced before the bell could ring. The match was never made official and was declared a no-contest.

The former leader of the Bullet Club has made several appearances in AEW in the past. His first appearance came in February of 2022 when he assisted The Young Bucks in a beatdown of Trent Berretta and Rocky Romero. He returned to the promotion in the late spring and summer of 2022 to promote the AEW and NJPW crossover event “Forbidden Door”. At the inaugural Forbidden Door in June of 2022, he successfully retained the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship over Hangman Adam Page, Adam Cole, and Kazuchika Okada.

Jay White has not been seen in AEW since Forbidden Door. With his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling White became the first-ever Grand Slam Champion. He is a former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, IWGP Heavyweight Champion, IWGP Intercontinental Champion, NEVER Openweight Champion, and IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion.
