This Sunday, Game Changer Wrestling makes its Toronto, Ontario debut. GCW Worst Behavior is set to air live from The Opera House and the excitement surrounding this event couldn’t be stronger. Case and point, upon said event’s announcement, it took only a matter of days for tickets to be officially sold out. What this means is that unless you know someone or are willing to play secondhand prices, you will only be able to catch the action on FITE+; additional information can be found below. Whether you’ll be watching from home or are only of the lucky individuals watching in person, the announced card is nothing short of promising. Here’s what to expect.

The Speedball Faces Russian Dynamite
In the first match announced for GCW Worst Behavior, “Speedball” Mike Bailey will take on “Russian Dynamite,” as well as the new GCW World Champion following this past Friday at Eye for an Eye, Masha Slamovich. These wrestlers are similar in their association with IMPACT Wrestling, having amassed various levels of success there. While Slamovich competed for the Knockouts World Championship on several occasions, taking the likes of Jordynne Grace and Mickie James to their limits, Bailey is a former X-Division Champion, becoming a staple of said division. However, this Sunday marks the third time they’ll square off in singles action. They first met at GCW Maniac in May of 2022, with Bailey securing the victory. The following September, they faced off in a Key to the East Championship tournament match for Expect the Unexpected Wrestling; it was here where Slamovich not only overcame Bailey but became the first and, as of this writing, only titleholder. In theory, one can look at this bout at Worst Behavior as the rubber match. Regardless of who emerges victorious, this has the makings of a sleeper hit in spades.
Rina Yamashita Faces LuFisto in First-Time Encounter
Also set for action this Sunday is the reigning GCW Ultraviolent Champion, Rina Yamashita. In addition to being the reigning champion, amassing a 200-day-plus reign, she’s become a Game Changer Wrestling favorite, her ultraviolent wrestling style and sheer charisma garnering an audience stateside. Furthermore, Yamashita is fiercely competitive, unwilling to step down from any challenge. This mindset will prove useful as she takes on independent wrestling veteran LuFisto in a first-time singles match. Anyone that’s well-versed in indie wrestling is familiar with LuFisto’s accomplishments, not to mention her influence on the women’s wrestling scene. The fact that she was a member of the inaugural Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame class is evidence of this. It’s worth noting that the Ultraviolent title won’t be up for grabs, but this fact shouldn’t make the upcoming match any less exciting. Keep your eyes peeled as Yamashita and LuFisto lock up for the first time.
Matt Cardona Takes On Sexxxy Eddy
Known as one of the Co-Founders of Montreal-based International Wrestling Syndicate, which recently held its joint GCW show entitled UnFnSanctioned, Sexxxy Eddy will also be in action this Friday. However, he’ll have a tall task ahead of him as he takes on the self-proclaimed “Deathmatch King” himself, Matt Cardona. Outside of this venture as a wrestling promoter, Eddy is an accomplished independent wrestler, having held his previous home promotion’s heavyweight title and the CZW Tag Team Championship, just to name a few accolades. Meanwhile, Cardona has carved out a niche for himself as a belt collector of gold, currently holding gold in such promotions as All Star Wrestling, The Wrestling Showcase, and Australia-based World Series Wrestling. Despite what many consider to be arrogance on his part, Cardona’s accomplishments speak for themselves. Who will come out on top in this first-time match at GCW Worst Behavior?
