It’s time for a new AEW Dark, with seven exciting matches to take place this evening! Blackpool Combat Club’s Wheeler Yuta clashes with former IMPACT Wrestling standout KM. Dark Order’s Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, and John Silver are in trios action as they face off with The Trustbusters’ Sonny Kiss, Ari Daivari, and Jeeves Kay. Our focus will be on tag team action as Varsity Athletes look to square off with Dean Alexander and Rosario Grillo.

Rosario Grillo and Dean Alexander vs. Varsity Athletes
Since joining forces, Tony Nese and Josh Woods have been on a dominant run. Their only losses as a unit have come to elite teams such as WarJoe (Wardlow and Samoa Joe), former AEW World Tag Team Champions Swerve in Our Glory (Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee), and current AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster).
With Mark Sterling by their side, Varsity Athletes are a tough duo out for anyone in the tag team division. That said, they will face a tough challenge with Nightmare Factory graduates Dean Alexander and Rosario Grillo on AEW Dark. Both men are familiar faces to those that regularly tune into Dark.
Though the two men have yet to pick up a win inside of AEW, it’s only a matter of time for these talented individuals, and I believe they can give the Varisty Athletes a great fight. As someone familiar with both Alexander and Grillo, I know these two have tremendous in-ring IQs.
While I would love to see Alexander and Grillo pick up the win, Varsity Athletes have so much momentum it’s impossible to pick against them. I will be rooting for Alexander and Grillo because they will put on a great match no one will want to miss!
