Jarrett made a surprise appearance on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, laying out Darby Allin with a guitar after Allin faced Jay Lethal. He then cut a promo that targeted everyone in AEW from the wrestlers to the crew and the fans. It appears he will be working as an on-screen talent in addition to his backstage role that was mentioned by Tony Khan.

Jarrett previously served as Senior Vice President of Live Events for WWE but was released from his position in August 2022. He spent the early part of this year in a feud with Effy in Game Changer Wrestling. His last official match saw him tag with Jay Lethal against Ric Flair and Andrade at Ric Flair’s Last Match.

Jarrett has a long history in the business as a wrestler where he competed for WCW and WWE during the Monday Night Wars and multiple territories, independent, and international promotions. He’s also the founder of TNA Wrestling now known as IMPACT Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling (GFW).
