RUSH Officially Signs With AEW, is All Elite

RUSH Signs With AEW

El Toro Blanco, aka RUSH, has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling. AEW President Tony Khan announced the news in a tweet on September 30 that former ROH World Champion RUSH has inked a deal with the company. RUSH will compete on the September 30 episode of AEW Rampage, facing John Silver in a singles match.

RUSH Signs With AEW

RUSH made his AEW debut in a taped vignette at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Since then, he has been paired up with his close friend Andrade El Idolo. RUSH made his in-ring debut on the June 29 episode of AEW Rampage, where he competed in the Royal Rampage battle royale. Then, he faced AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley on the July 27 episode of AEW Dynamite. RUSH also competed in the Casino Ladder Match at AEW All Out.

RUSH is a former 2x ROH World Champion, and he had been featured in Ring of Honor until he went down with a knee injury in August 2021. He missed the last several months of the year and the beginning of 2022 before he started performing again in Mexico. Rush held the ROH World title for 498 days between his reigns.

Before he ran in ROH, RUSH starred in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and he also competed for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. He is a 2x CMLL World Tag Team Champion, among other accolades. The Los Ingobernables faction started at CMLL with Andrade.

Since arriving in AEW, RUSH seemingly kicked his younger brother Dragon Lee out of La Faccion Ingobernable.
