Preview: WWE SmackDown (9/30/22) – Live from Winnipeg

SmackDown ratings - Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa vs Ricochet & Madcap Moss

WWE‘s blue-branded grappling extraordinaire, Friday Night SmackDown, is here again. However, the show is largely expected to be placed into turmoil by Hurricane Ian, which continues to wreak havoc on the United States’ east coast – particularly the State of Florida, where the majority of the WWE roster reside. Because of this, it is expected that the show will be without a number of WWE superstars unable to make it to tonight’s location of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and we may therefore witness a depleted roster. Additionally, the announced match card is subject to alteration and it is unknown whether the three advertised matches are going to take place.

Advertised Match Card May (or May Not) Go Ahead

Shotzi was scheduled to take on Bayley on tonight’s show. Bayley and Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai) have been dominating since uniting last month. Should this match go ahead, it is difficult to see Shotzi overcoming Bayley. However, she may have assistance from Aliyah & Raquel Rodriguez.

Los Lotharios (Angel & Humberto) proved to be a thorn in the side of Hit Row (Dolla & Adonis) last week and these two teams are scheduled to collide tonight, should all members of the match be in Winnipeg.

Ricochet and Madcap Moss have formed something of a friendship as of late and will be uniting tonight to take on the enforcer of The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa, and “Honorary Uce”, Sami Zayn. With tonight’s show taking place in Canada, we can be sure to see Sami, a Canadian, leading (or accidentally costing the match) his team to victory to a raucous ovation.

Not Announced But Expected for SmackDown

– Will Roman Reigns or Logan Paul be available to address the other ahead of their big money match at Crown Jewel?

The Brawling Brutes and Imperium can be expected to continue their hot feud.

– Expect the “White Rabbit” teasers to be unaffected by the storm.
