Jungle Boy Makes His AEW Return at Fyter Fest
Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus lost their AEW Tag Team Championships to the Young Bucks on the June 15th episode of Dynamite. Following the match, Christian Cage who had been mentoring the young duo turned on them and hit Jungle Boy with a conchairto, keeping him out of action until tonight.
Following Cage’s betrayal, Luchasaurus aligned himself with Cage showing a darker side of his personality. Cage cut many scathing promos on Jungle Boy and his family, including his late father Luke Perry. Luchasaurus and Cage defeated the Varsity Blondes tonight on Dynamite, but the celebration was short-lived. Jungle Boy made his way down the entrance ramp with a chair and stood toe to toe with Luchasaurus. Following a brief staredown, Luchasaurus stepped aside, allowing Jungle Boy to enter the ring where Cage was standing.
Cage quickly ran out of the ring and made his way through the crowd trying to escape Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy pursued as Cage ran through the arena. Although Jungle Boy did not get his hands on Cage tonight, the opportunity will surely present itself again very soon.
