The Enemy of My Enemy

Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi are set for a head-on collision this Sunday night at Forbidden Door. These two will battle for the Interim AEW World Championship. However, Moxley has an extra incentive to win the matchup. Mox has stated that he has Tanahashi left on his hit list, and “The Ace” is quite possibly the biggest one. This matchup is three years in the making, and will undoubtedly be one of the biggest highlights of the event. However, for this Wednesday, Mox and Hiroshi will battle Chris Jericho and Lance Archer.

The Jericho Appreciation Society interrupted a monumental face-to-face between the two supreme athletes. It didn’t take long for the beatdown to commence, and the JAS, as well as Archer and El Desperado of Suzuki Gun, laid waste to both combatants. Tanahashi and Moxley will be out for blood ahead of their championship match; can they keep it together in Hiroshi Tanahashi’s AEW in-ring debut?

Trios Turmoil

Will Ospreay and Aussie Open look to avenge their loss at the hands of FTR and Trent from a few weeks ago on AEW Rampage. Ospreay got a measure of revenge last week on Dynamite when he went toe to toe with Dax Harwood in a show-stealing bout. The IWGP United States Champion picked up the win and was immediately confronted by a returning Orange Cassidy, effectively challenging the champion to a title match at Forbidden Door.

However, The United Empire chose to hit the ring and initially outnumbered Harwood and Cassidy. Fortunately, Roppongi Vice and Cash Wheeler came to the aid of their respective partners and warded off the wolves. This leads us to this Wednesday night, it’ll be Ospreay and Aussie Open taking on Orange Cassidy and Roppongi Vice in trios action. Considering everyone involved in the matchup, this will be a “can’t miss” affair ahead of Forbidden Door. See it all unfold this Wednesday night on the Forbidden Door Go-Home episode of AEW Dynamite only on TBS!
