It’s time for AEW Dark, and we have a somewhat lighter offering with five matches. However, given the talent on the card, it should be a great night of action. Anthony Ogogo is back in action, and he looks to land his big right hand against Carlie Bravo. Jamie Hayter looks to build up momentum squaring off with debuting Defy regular Danika Della Rouge. Finally, our focus on this week’s AEW Dark will be on the ROH Women’s World Championship, as titleholder Mercedes Martinez takes on another Defy standout in Viva Van.

Mercedes Martinez vs Viva Van on Dark
Mercedes Martinez looks to continue her dominant run against Viva Van. Van is a familiar face to AEW fans as she has faced both Kris Statlander and former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose in previous Dark matches. While Martinez is certainly the favorite, Van cannot be overlooked in this match-up on AEW Dark.
Van had a dominant run as PCW Ultra Women’s Champion and has proven she can hang with elite competition. Although Martinez has shown she can beat the elite competition, that’s why I give her the edge here. Either way, we’re in for an exciting night, so tune in!
