Preview: AEW Dark: Elevation (4/11/22) – LuFisto Debuts

LuFisto Debuts on AEW Dark Elevation

Tonight’s episode of AEW Dark: Elevation features six great matches. First, Dark Order is in ten-man tag team action as they face off with Gunn Club and Chaos Project. Also, on the card, Diamante takes on Ashley D’Amboise after D’Amboise campaigned on social media for a match following Dimante’s post-match assault last week. Finally, our focus will be on trios tag team action; on AEW Dark: Elevation, Roby Soho, Anna Jay, and Skye Blue take on Emi Sakura, The Bunny, and the debuting LuFisto.

The Bunny, Emi Sakura, and LuFisto vs. Ruby Soho, Anna Jay, and Skye Blue

Ruby Soho and Anna Jay look to continue their momentum teaming up with Skye Blue to take on Emi Sakura, The Bunny, and the debuting LuFisto. Anna Jay and Ruby Soho have been regularly teaming for about a month now and have yet to lose since forming their partnership. However, that could all change in tonight’s match-up. Jay and Soho would be the favorites if this were standard tag team action, but I have to lean towards their opponents due to their partnership with Skye Blue.

Skye has shown herself to be a great prospect and has grown a lot since her AEW debut over a year ago. Still, I feel Sakura has Blue’s number, as she has been unable to pull out the win in their previous seven match-ups. This is also before you factor in the debuting LuFisto on Dark: Elevation, the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame member blending hard-hitting offense with great submissions and impactful slams.

While I lean towards Sakura, The Bunny, and LuFisto, victory is definitely not guaranteed. However, as I stated, Ruby Soho and Anna Jay are riding a wave of momentum right now, and Skye Blue has shown growth in every one of her matches. No matter the outcome, this will be a match you won’t want to miss!
