First Matches Set For NJPW STRONG STYLE EVOLVED

NJPW Strong returns with Strong Style Evolved, which will take place in the Coliseum in Tampa Bay/ St. Petersburg area on March 20. Four matches NJPW Strong Style Evolved have been announced so far. Let’s examine the first few matches. 

First NJPW Strong Style Evolved Matches Announced

The U-S-of-Jay Open Challenge

Jay White’s quest of taking on the best in U.S. wrestling best continues in Florida. The Switchblade already squared off against such notable names as Christopher Daniels and Jay Lethal and is looking to continue his winning ways. Who will answer his open challenge? White made a lot of enemies in both IMPACT Wrestling and AEW, including members of his own faction, Bullet Club. 

Blake Christian vs. SW3RVE

‘The Realest’ Sw3rve will meet ‘All Heart’ Blake Christian, who made his return to NJPW STRONG at RIVALS event in Hollywood and is looking for a huge win. The buzz surrounding SW3RVE will guarantee notoriety if Christian is able to get the win. 

Mascara Dorada vs. TJP

Mascara Dorada makes his first appearance in the blue ring of NJPW since 2016 and will take on Empire’s TJP. Both of them know one another very well from their days in WWE. This time however their bout will have much more Strong Style flavor to it.  

Ren Narita vs. Jay Lethal

Young and up and coming Narita continues 2022 battling all-star caliber opponents like Katsuyori Shibata, Buddy Matthews, and Josh Barnett. Jay Lethal will provide another hard test for Narita when they meet in Tampa.
