Samoa Joe Named ROH Hall of Fame Inductee

Samoa Joe ROH Hall of Fame

Samoa Joe is headed to the Ring of Honor (ROH) Hall of Fame. He will join The Briscoe Brothers and Bryan Danielson as part of the first-ever ROH Hall of Fame class.

Samoa Joe Part of Inaugural ROH Hall of Fame Class

Samoa Joe is the longest-reigning Ring of Honor World Champion. He held the title for 645 days and has the second-highest combined days as champion with that reign alone. It only took him 10 matches in an ROH ring to become champion. After his historic reign was ended he went on to capture the Ring of Honor Pure Title. He held that title for 112 days before losing the belt to Nigel McGuiness.

One of the better-known feuds Joe was a part of was his feud with CM Punk. They wrestled two 60-minute draws before Joe came out victorious in the final meeting. His historic title reign is one of the many accomplishments Joe had in an ROH ring that earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame class of 2022.

A look back at the career of Joe will air on ROH TV this weekend. A YouTube special will also air on February 21st on ROH’s YouTube channel. The inaugural ROH Hall of Fame class will be inducted on the weekend of March 5th on ROH TV. The final inductee will be announced next week.
