Santana Garrett made her return to IMPACT Wrestling this week on IMPACT on AXS TV. She answered the open challenge laid out by Deonna Purrazzo for either her AAA Reina de Reinas Championship or ROH Women’s World Championship.

Garrett accepted Purrazzo’s open challenge but was unable to defeat her for a title. Purrazzo laid out the challenge shortly after becoming the new ROH Women’s World Champion and becoming a dual champion once again. The two are not strangers to each other as Purrazzo defeated Garrett in January of this year at the PPW New Beginnings event.
Garrett is no stranger to IMPACT Wrestling (or TNA Wrestling as it is formerly known). She competed under the name Brittany in 2013 and 2014. She returned to IMPACT Wrestling in 2017 under the name Santana Garrett for a TV episode and for the One Night Only – Victory Road 2017: Next Knockout event. Garrett has shared the ring with Knockouts such as Gail Kim, Rosemary, ODB, Laural Van Ness (Chelsea Green), Madison Rayne, and many other well-known Knockouts in her stints with the company.
Garrett has worked with SHINE, AEW, HOG, PPW, and now IMPACT since her release from WWE in 2021. It is not clear as of this writing if we will see more of Garrett in an IMPACT ring anytime soon.
