A Battle to the Death

“Hangman” Adam Page came out on a recent edition of Dynamite seeking a challenger for the AEW World Championship. Page wanted to be a fighting champion and laid down the gauntlet to anyone who dare challenge him and his title reign. Hangman immediately got his wish as a ravaging “Murderhawk Monster” answered the call. Lance Archer made his triumphant comeback from injury and immediately made an impact.

Archer barely said a word as he proceeded to brutalize the AEW World Champion hitting The Blackout on the unsuspecting cowboy. Undeterred, Hangman Page would come out week in and week out provoking Lance to give him his best shot, and the monster obliged. On last week’s Dynamite, Hangman fearlessly came out once again to tell Lance Archer off. However, he got much of the same as Archer hit The Blackout through a table. Leaving Page in a world of hurt ahead of their Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship.

Atlantic City will be a witness to a title match that’s sure to be painted in blood from start to finish. Lance Archer is sick of being overlooked and will do whatever it takes to be a World Champion. Hangman Page better bring his A-game as he faces the biggest threat to his title reign yet. Don’t miss the war that goes down this Wednesday night live on AEW Dynamite!

“Face of the Revolution” Face-off

AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter and congratulated Isiah Kassidy for an amazing bout, albeit in a losing effort, with TNT Champion Sammy Guevara on last week’s AEW Rampage. Tony was so impressed with the high-flyer’s performance, he decided to put him in a qualifying match for the “Face of the Revolution” ladder match that takes place at Revolution.

However, Khan did not name who Isiah will be facing this Wednesday night on Dynamite. In the same tweet, Tony Khan stated Kassidy’s opponent will make his debut on Dynamite. This mysterious approach of Tony Khan creates a lot of intrigue on who will face Isiah Kassidy for a chance to qualify for the Ladder match. Will it be a returning star? Perhaps, somebody walks through “The Forbidden Door” once more? We’ll just have to find out live this Wednesday night on TBS!
