AAA World Tag Team Championship – FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) W/ Vickie Guerrero (c) vs Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix)
FTR and the Lucha Brothers have been at odds for weeks now due to FTR cheating to claim the AAA tag titles from the Lucha Bros on AEW Dynamite. The two had a rematch on AEW’s Full Gear event with the AEW tag titles on the line in which the Lucha Brothers walked away with the win. That said, the AAA tag titles are still around the waist of FTR and both Fenix and Pentagon will no doubt be looking to get back the titles they held for 853 days. While it may seem obvious to fans that the babyfaces would reclaim the titles on their turf this is AAA so we may very well see FTR come away with the win here.
Cain Velasquez, Psycho Clown & Pagano vs LA Park, Rey Escorpion & Taurus
This star-studded semi-main event features AAA’s top star Psycho Clown, the iconic LA Park, and former UFC Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez. The babyface side are almost guaranteed to walk away with the win here but look to this match to kick off some potential major feuds as well as continuing the issues between Psycho Clown and Rey Escorpion.
AAA MegaCampeonato – Hijo Del Vikingo vs Samuray Del Sol vs Jay Lethal vs Bobby Fish vs Bandido
Originally this was supposed to be Kenny Omega vs Hijo Del Vikingo but due to Kenny Omega’s injuries he had to vacate the championship. In Omega’s place, we have this five-way match featuring three great luchadores and AEW’s new signings Jay Lethal and Bobby Fish. You may be thinking that Hijo Del Vikingo will win this match since he was supposed to face Omega, but that isn’t a forgone conclusion and someone like Bandido, who is soon to be free of his ROH deal could be a great option for AAA.
