Jake Crist Returns to IMPACT Wrestling, Answers Josh Alexander’s Open Challenge

Jake Crist returned to IMPACT Wrestling tonight on IMPACT on AXS TV. Crist made his return to IMPACT by answering an open challenge for the X-Division Championship from current champion Josh Alexander.

This is the first time Jake Crist has been in an IMPACT ring since June of 2020, when he defeated Crazzy Steve in singles action. Crist was unable to capture the X-Division title from Alexander in his return to the IMPACT Zone. Alexander issued an open challenge for the title to any former X-Division champion. Crist answered the call, returning to IMPACT.

Crist wrestled in IMPACT as part of the oVe faction alongside Sami Callihan, his brother Dave, and later Madman Fulton. The group debut in IMPACT in 2017 and disbanded in 2020. Jake is a former 1x X-Division Champion and 1x Tag Team Champion in IMPACT Wrestling. Jake is also a four-time AAW Tag Team Champion.

Now that he is back in an IMPACT ring, we will see if he enters another stable or continues as a singles wrestler. With Callihan and Fulton still active on the IMPACT roster, we could see a reunion between the three former stablemates. Crist could also further his title aspirations in the X-Division that is currently championed by Alexander.
