Chelsea Green Returns to IMPACT Wrestling at Slammiversary

Chelsea Green

On Saturday night, Chelsea Green returned to IMPACT Wrestling for the first time since 2018 to team with her fiancee Matt Cardona against Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood. Green previously resurfaced on Ring of Honor’s Best in the World pay-per-view last weekend. She managed to win the match for her team when she would hit a low blow on Dashwood with her cast from the broken wrist she has been recovering from. Green would hit the Unprettier to finish off Dashwood.

Chelsea Green accomplished a lot during her time in IMPACT. Under the name Laurel Van Ness, she won the IMPACT Knockouts Championship. She left IMPACT in 2018, heading to WWE before being released earlier this year by the company.

There was no word following the match as to whether this was a one-off for Green or not. By the looks of it, Green is likely to be staying in IMPACT moving forward while also competing in ROH. An impressive resume since being released from WWE. With her embracing bother herself as Green and Van Ness, this split personality could lead her to another Knockouts Championship down the line. Time will tell as to whether that will be true or not.
