A Couple of Bumz versus A Couple of Blonds

The team of Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr., collectively known as the Varsity Blondes, will be in action come Monday night as they take on the veteran team of Ray Beez and Milo Beasley, known as Bums R Us, making their AEW debuts. On last week’s AEW Dynamite, the Blondes came to the aid of their friend and number one cheerleader Julia Hart. Hart was on the receiving end of a brutal post-match beatdown when Penelope Ford wouldn’t let go of the submission she has applied on Hart, even though she had already won. Garrison and Pillman would also be subjected to such pain as Miro bulldozed his way into the ring as he felt responsible for Ford and supposedly wanted to help.

Garrison was victimized by Miro. Pillman took exception to this and brawled with “The Bulgarian Brute” as the officials were trying to separate the two competitors. In the return of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday nights come June 30th, Pillman will have the chance of a lifetime as he goes one on one with Miro for the TNT Championship. But for Monday Night, these two young blondes must focus on the task at hand as they go up against two competitors who have 22 and 23 years of experience between them respectively. Will Bums R Us pick up the scraps and the win? Will The Varsity Blondes dispose of them and be victorious?

A Wild Makeover?

Ahead of his AEW World Championship match on a special Saturday night edition of Dynamite against Kenny OmegaJungle Boy will be in action on AEW Dark: Elevation. He will take on the big man of The Wingmen in the form of Cezar Bononi. Jungle Boy will be in for the fight of his life and probably the biggest match of his young career so far against Omega.

But with that being said, the young superstar is far from taking it easy as come Monday night; he will stand toe to toe with a hulking powerhouse. Knowing Jungle Boy, he will not take anyone lightly and will be on his top game when Elevation rolls around. Expect nothing less but a great outing from “The Boy with a Dinosaur.” Will Bononi pull off the upset and beat the number one contender or will Jungle Boy go into his world title match with all the momentum?
