Hell in a Cell Predictions & Analysis
SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley inside Hell in a Cell
Once Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio were moved to Friday night, it felt very likely that the feud between Bianca Belair and Bayley was heading towards a Hell in a Cell match. That was made official as Belair laid down the gauntlet to her challenger. This will be the last match between the two if Belair is able to survive and successfully defend her title. Bayley lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship inside this Cell last year against Sasha Banks, who Belair beat, so there is a lot of history going into this one. What is also necessary to discuss is that this will be the first women’s Hell in a Cell match without Banks in it, so it will be interesting to see how “The EST” and “The Role Model” make it unique. This should be their best battle yet.
Prediction: Bianca Belair
WWE Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell
Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre have been going at it since Elimination Chamber when Lashley destroyed McIntyre, allowing The Miz to cash in Money in the Bank and take the WWE Championship from him. McIntyre has since been trying to get the WWE Championship back but has yet to show he can beat Lashley in any match. At WrestleMania 37, Lashley forced McIntyre to pass out with the Hurt Lock. At WrestleMania Backlash, Lashley could not be stopped as he defeated both McIntyre and Braun Strowman to retain. For McIntyre, this will be his last chance at the championship until Lashley loses it, so it’s now or never for him to try and defeat “The All Mighty.” The Cell is the perfect spot for this feud to conclude.
Prediction: Bobby Lashley
