Ren Narita is a young lion in New Japan currently on excursion to the U.S. due to COVID-19 his excursion has mostly seen him compete for NJPW Strong and train with the L.A. Dojo but he did manage to wrestle for Over The Top Wrestling in Ireland, RevPro in the UK, and Warrior Wrestling and Black Label Pro in the U.S.

Narita debuted in 2017 but went on his excursion following the Young Lions Cup in 2019 in which he scored 10 points.  Narita appearing in AEW is a further sign of a positive relationship between AEW and NJPW and offers a different experience for the 23 year old as the bright lights of Jacksonville and Daily’s Place are sure to offer a different experience than the empty NJPW Strong venue.
