WWE Raw Card: Fallout From WrestleMania Backlash (5/17/21)

A new contender for Lashley, perhaps?

The fallout from WrestleMania Backlash will visit Monday Night Raw first following an event with zombies, high-paced action, and an overall good show. The WWE Raw card should begin to look forward to Hell in a Cell. It was announced during Backlash that the caged event made the jump up from its usual October spot into June. Who from the red brand will enter the massive structure and put their careers at risk? Here is the preview for the WWE Raw card on Monday night.

Bobby Lashley had seemed to get the worst of his match with Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania Backlash, but the WWE Champion is already back and working. As seen in the video above, MVP has made a promise to give “The All Mighty” something special on Raw tonight. With Hell in a Cell five weeks away, there is plenty of time for Lashley to find his next opponent, but considering that he is already back to work, he may be ready to find out as soon as possible.

Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair Likely Have Unfinished Business

In the triple threat for the Raw Women’s Championship on Sunday night, Rhea Ripley pinned Asuka to retain her championship. The lasting image, however, was Charlotte Flair and Ripley had a staredown, signaling that their feud with each other is far from over and really only beginning. Flair is likely the next opponent for Ripley and Hell in a Cell could be the spot for that WrestleMania 36 rematch to happen. Monday night should give a glimpse into what is next for both of them.

The Tease of the Eva-Lution Continues

The formerly “All Red Everything” superstar has been asking for the fans’ attention the past number of weeks and Monday night should be the next step in learning when she will finally return to the red brand and WWE.
