AEW Dark: Elevation Card (5/3/21)

AEW Dark Elevation 5/3/21

Ahead of this week’s special edition of AEW Dynamite Blood and Guts, All Elite Wrestling is serving up quite the selection for the action-hungry fans. Two main events are sanctioned for the broadcast as well as the debuts of up-and-coming talent. AEW’s vision for Elevation to be the stomping grounds for the stars of tomorrow is in full swing and Monday night’s show will not stray far from this philosophy. The All Elite fans will be shown glimpses of the potential and talent that will hopefully be carrying the torch of professional wrestling in due time. If you’re excited about Blood and Guts, then this is one fine teaser for the action to come this Wednesday night. Let’s start the week right with AEW Dark: Elevation. Let’s run it down.

Red Hot Cooking

Red Velvet will be in action as she hopes to extend her momentum as of late on this week’s Elevation. Velvet has won her last two matches. Just last week, she and her partner Big Swole were victorious over the dysfunctional pairing of Madi Wrenkowski and “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose. Red Velvet hopes to cook up another W as she goes up against a competitor making her televised AEW debut on the program, Reka Tehaka. Consider that Tehaka made her untelevised debut in the company at AEW’s live event, The House Always Wins, against Velvet’s sworn enemy, Jade Cargill. Will Red Velvet continue to dish out punishment or will Reka Tehaka pull the upset and be victorious?

A Thunderous Affair on AEW Dark: Elevation

“La Mera Mera” Thunder Rosa will be in action Monday night on AEW Dark: Elevation. Rosa has had quite the mini winning streak lately and she continues to put in the work to be the absolute best in any promotion against every competitor. With the being said, a 5-year veteran of the independent wrestling scene might just have something to say about that, as Willow Nightingale will make her AEW debut against Rosa. The first match for a huge promotion isn’t necessarily the easiest thing to do for most competitors. However, Nightingale has been around the professional wrestling block more than a handful of times. Nevertheless, it will not be easy as she will be battling one of the most talented competitors in the industry. Will Nightingale be able to come away with the win or will Rosa show her who’s boss?

Producing Wins

The Factory‘s head honcho QT Marshall will be in singles action as he goes up against a young lion in the form of Dillon McQueen. Marshall will stop at nothing to spite “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. It feels methodical and not coincidental at this point. McQueen was one of the few lucky upstarts that impressed Rhodes at his recent training camp in The Nightmare Factory. Dillon stated that Rhodes has stood by his side and looks to return the favor. In a reply posted by Marshall, he stated fans of McQueen best not watch as he promised a beating of a lifetime for the rising competitor. Will McQueen stand up and put Marshall in his place or will the more seasoned wrestler, once again, mercilessly scrape up another point in the win column?
