Taking Exception

Last week saw the trio of The Lucha Brothers and Laredo Kid scratch up a win against the AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler. Laredo Kid would pick up the fall after an insane Spanish Fly. Pinning Cutler and securing the win. Right after the match, Kenny Omega would blindside Laredo Kid, supposedly on behalf of the Bucks. He would state that he remembered Fyter Fest all those years ago. How he battled the same three men with Matt and Nick Jackson by his side. How times have changed and Omega would throw a fit on how the Bucks didn’t have his back anymore. That they’d rather associate themselves with Cutler instead. He asked the Bucks to throw up “The Sign” or forever lose him. The brothers walked away, effectively signaling the end of this once strong friendship.

Penta El Zero MiedoRey Fenix, and Laredo Kid were not happy being made out to be an example. They would attack Omega leaving him bloody as The Good Brothers came to his aid. Kenny will be looking to fight this week to vent out his frustrations. Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows will be alongside him as they battle two-thirds of Death Triangle and The Laredo Kid. Will Omega and the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions dole out some punishment or will the masked luchadors exact some revenge?

A friend in the Shadows No More?

QT Marshall issued a challenge to his best friend Cody Rhodes for an Exhibition match on this week’s Dynamite. He said that he was proud to be part of The Nightmare Family but could no longer sit idly by being referred to as the “friend of Cody”. According to QT, he needed this match to prove, not only to the fans but to himself that he is more than the buddy of “The Prince of Pro Wrestling”. Marshall wants everybody to know that he got to the big dance because of his abilities, hard work, and tenacity. Not just because of the fact that he is part of Cody’s inner circle.

Rhodes to his credit obliged and even offered “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson as the special guest referee of the affair ensuring an impartial official leading to a decisive conclusion to the contest. Folks, we are all in for something special as these two combatants will square off in a battle of wits to see who comes out on top. Will Cody power through his injury and defeat his confidant or will QT finally have his validating moment?

(Arcade) Anarchy Rulz!

Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor laid down the groundwork for a rematch with Kip Sabian and Miro. After the events of Revolution, Chuckie T. and Cassidy wanted one more match with the duo. They were even willing to make them more comfortable by offering to fight inside an Arcade considering Kip and Miro loved to play video games so much and will be in their element. Orange and Chuck have not forgotten the heinous cheap shot courtesy of Miro and Sabian right before their match at Revolution. They want another go at the duo even if it means going at it in an unconventional setting. AEW Management would make it official later in the night sanctioning an “Arcade Anarchy” match between the two parties. Fans will not know what to expect from this seemingly unorthodox contest but the intrigue is sure to keep the AEW faithful glued to their TV screens. Will Sabian and Miro replicate the same result or will Chuck and Orange get their retribution?
