Preview: WWE – 205 Live (02/19/21)

205 Live

It’s another week so that means it’s another edition of the high-flying WWE 205 Live. Last week saw “The OG’s” of the purple brand try and reestablish their dominance over the roster but was stopped dead in their tracks. An alliance once again proved to be unsuccessful with their new experiment and might be at their wit’s end at this point. It’s sure to be another exciting show this week. No matches have been announced as of yet. But nonetheless, here’s a speculative look at what’s to come on 205 Live.

What To Expect On 205 Live

Ashante “Thee” Adonis and his partner Mansoor picked up an impressive win over Chase Parker and Samir Singh of BollyRise. The duo looked impressive as if they have been teaming for a long time now. Adonis picked up the victory for his team in a fast-paced blink and you’ll miss it match. Will Adonis and Mansoor continue their winning ways together or maybe they will be pitted against one another?

-Speaking of BollyRise the combination of Chase Parker and Samir Singh suffered the same fate as Sunil Singh and Matt Martel. They lost their match against Adonis and Mansoor in a stunner of a match. Does the lack of success spell the end of the foursome or is it just a bump in the road and they will try to refocus and reassess their strategy once more?

-The NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar proved on the latest edition of WWE NXT why he is “the” man in the Cruiserweight division. He would tell General Manager William Regal that he will have his match with Karrion Kross on his own terms. And the champion left shortly thereafter without even batting an eye. Will Legado Del Fantasma show up on 205 Live to make a statement on behalf of their esteemed leader?

Leon Ruff had a bittersweet night on the latest episode of NXT. He would upset the very game Isaiah “Swerve” Scott with his patented crucifix pin maneuver thus picking up a shocking but impressive win. This win is monumental and could catapult Leon into the Cruiserweight title picture immediately. Swerve Scott did not take this lying down. He would beat down the Ultimate Underdog of the Black and Gold Brand. The brash superstar saw this as a fluke and he was hellbent on making that crystal clear. Swerve is on a warpath and he just might be in a fighting mood come 205 Live.

-The Main Event last week saw Tony Nese battle Jake Atlas in a rivalry that’s getting more personal by the week. Nese and Atlas were having a tremendous contest when Ariya Daivari would insert himself into the match and tried to lend a helping hand to his fellow 205 Live OG. Daivari would hand his chain to Nese to get an advantage. But August Grey came storming to ringside to prevent that from happening. The momentary distraction would cause Nese to lose focus. Jake would capitalize and roll him up for the win. The battle is heating up between The OG’s of the Purple brand and the team of Atlas and Grey. Will Nese and Daivari get their revenge or will Atlas and August just keep on foiling their plans? Better watch out because 205 Live is coming fast!
