Sports. Honestly. Since 2011

Preview: WWE — SmackDown (9/24/20)

Let us hope (and assume) SmackDown delivers a better go-home show than whatever Raw did on Monday. It’ll be interesting to see what the champion and challenger have to say before the massive Universal Championship match on Sunday at Clash of Champions. Here’s the preview of the card for Friday night.

Roman Reigns Set For In-Ring Interview

Roman Reigns has been very simple in his words, but on Friday that could change. Paul Heyman was hired by him to be one to talk as Reigns focused on wrecking those who dare oppose him. After Reigns’ actions last week of hugging his cousin just to turn on him as he stared him down when Jey Uso wasn’t looking, anything could happen. Perhaps they bring that up in the interview, changing how Reigns reacts with a tough question.

Jeff Hardy vs. Sami Zayn

Before they all face off at Clash of Champions on Sunday, Jeff Hardy and Sami Zayn will go head-to-head in a match between the two men who hold the Intercontinental Championship. Of course, Hardy is the only one who is recognized at champion but that ruins the fun. Expect AJ Styles to be near, or even ruin this match. But before that, this one could be and should be very entertaining for the fans at home.

Alexa Bliss vs. Lacey Evans

Alexa Bliss was taunted and yelled at by Lacey Evans, not really caring until she said the words — “The Fiend.” When that was said, she entered the trance we saw the week before and laid her out with Sister Abigail. Now, Evans looks for revenge on SmackDown. This will be Bliss’ first match since we learned of this weird trance she snaps into. If I’m Evans, I won’t say anything regarding him. That’s just me. This is one to watch.
