Tetsuya Naito Regains IWGP Heavyweight & Intercontinental Championships

In the main event, Tetsuya Naito got retribution on EVIL for turning his back on him and Los Ingobernables De Japon by once again winning the IWGP heavyweight and intercontinental championships.  EVIL’s reign ends at just 48 days as Naito got his big moment at Jingu Stadium

Taiji Ishimori Wins IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship

Bullet Club’s Taiji Ishimori became a two-time IWGP Hr. Heavyweight Champion by defeating Hiromu Takahashi in a slightly surprising result.  Most eyes will be on Takahashi’s next move as it is rumoured we could see him make the jump to being a heavyweight to finally ascend to the top of NJPW

Minoru Suzuki Wins NEVER Openweight Championship

It was a bad night for some members of LIJ as Shingo Takagi lost the NEVER Openweight title to Suzuki-Gun’s Minoru Suzuki.  Both men personify the hard-hitting style of the NEVER title.  Suzuki surprisingly only starts his second run as NEVER Champion.
