Raw seems to be the brand of returns and intrigue in recent weeks as Mustafa Ali made his return to the WWE on Monday night in aid of Ricochet and Cedric Alexander. In his first encounter in months, he walked out victorious and with the winning fall as he hit a 450 Splash on the self-proclaimed United States Champion, MVP, for the win. The win was the first for Ricochet and Alexander over The Hurt Business as it seemed Ali was the key ingredient to their success.

Mustafa Ali has for a long time been one of WWE’s most talented and underutilized stars. He actually has received plenty of press during his time away from the WWE as he held multiple interviews as a former police officer. Ali even joined Raw Talk after the show to talk about the same along with his return and what’s next.

It was on Raw Talk where he explained that now he is back, he’s ready to get an opportunity that he had been waiting to obtain for months. Many fans are in the same boat, as seeing Ali get the opportunity is a pleasant sight. Remember, it was only at Fastlane in 2019 that Ali had a WWE Championship match against Daniel Bryan and showed out before coming up short. Or, if you are questioning the talent, look to his battles against Buddy Murphy on 205 Live and you will no longer question. Of course, the professional is, he gave you a glimpse tonight into how good he is when he wiped out Bobby Lashley in their match.

Plain and simple, Mustafa Ali is back and is ready to make a huge splash. Considering the pinfall over MVP, he could be in line for a United States Championship match very soon. Hopefully, his return is the start of something better than what he was faced with on SmackDown before he was taken off TV earlier this year. This man can be and will be a champion sooner rather than later. He screams star power.
