Report: NWA TV Champion Zicky Dice Granted Release From Company

Zicky Dice

According to a report from Fightful.com, the reigning National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) World Television Champion “Outlandish” Zicky Dice has been granted a full release from the company. According to the report, “NWA had sent an email out to talent in stating that they didn’t want any talent with the company that didn’t believe in the vision moving forward” and it appears Zicky Dice has taken them up on the offer. While it’s been reported elsewhere that NWA has “temporarily” released all talents until January of 2021 as the company restructures its management team following the departure of NWA Vice President Dave Lagana following allegations during the #SpeakingOut movement, it appears that Dice’s situation is of the permanent kind.

Zicky Dice has been wrestling since 2015, when he was trained by The Black & Brave Wrestling Academy in Iowa under Marek Brave and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. A native of Pismo Beach, California, he’s been working the West Coast ever since, becoming one of the top rising stars in the West Coast scene with the likes of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, Maverick Wrestling, and All-Pro Wrestling (APW), as well as in the Pacific Northwest with Prestige Wrestling, Without A Cause (WAC), and others. He joined the new NWA in late 2019 and on the March 3, 2020, edition of NWA Powerrr, defeated Ricky Starks for the NWA World Television Championship. Ricky Starks has since departed NWA and signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and now the NWA World Television title has been vacated.
