IMPACT Knockouts Division Adds Deonna Purrazzo

Deonna Purrazzo AEW

With rumors running rampant she was headed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), IMPACT Wrestling solidified the Knockouts Division as the best women’s division in the world on Tuesday, with the reveal that former NXT Superstar Deonna Purrazzo is IMPACT bound.

Deonna Purrazzo was one of the indies’ top prospects when she signed with WWE in 2018. She had become one of the indies’ biggest darlings and worked for majors like WWE (NXT, SmackDown), Ring of Honor, IMPACT Wrestling, and others in various roles. During Black Wednesday, she was released from the WWE after barely appearing on WWE television. But on Tuesday, Deonna Purrazzo made her intentions and home clear, joining a women’s division that has added Neveah, Kimber Lee, and Tasha Steelz in recent weeks, while already bosting Tessa Blanchard, Taya Valkyrie, Jordynne Grace, Rosemary, Su Yung, Kylie Rae, Jessicka Havok, Madison Rayne, Kiera Hogan, and Tenille Dashwood. With arguably the best women’s roster in North American pro wrestling, it will be interesting to see what IMPACT has in store to push them all.
