Exciting Matches Added To WrestleCon Worldwide

Wrestlecon Worldwide

WrestleCon Worldwide has emerged as one of the most exciting shows of WrestleMania Week.  The show pits some of the world’s best against each other with Australian talent, Lucha talent, British talent, and more featured.  Caveman Ugg vs Barbaro Cavernario in a battle of the cavemen was one of the first matches announced and was covered previously.  Let’s take a look at the latest match announcements.

Jody Fleisch vs El Desperado

A battle of two older junior heavyweights as one of the UK’s best Jody Fleisch takes on New Japan Pro Wrestling star El Desperado.  Neither man has ever reached the top of the sport but both are respected for their performances.  Desperado has had many a great match in Best Of The Super Juniors while Fleisch has long been one of the most consistent performers in the UK.

The Nations (Mick Moretti & Jack Bonza) vs The VeloCities (Paris De Silva & Jude “The Dude” London)

A battle of Australian teams here as the Australian scene’s finest get a chance to represent their scene on the big stage.  These two teams know each other very well and have traded titles in the past with The VeloCities coming out on top in most recent encounters.  If you’re into high octane tag team wrestling then this one will be for you and surely make you a fan of both teams.

Michael Elgin vs Black Taurus

The best-looking matchup of the bunch sees Canada’s Michael Elgin take on luchador Black Taurus.  This will be a battle of the big men and is sure to feature stiff shots aplenty as well as a lot of bomb-throwing.  Elgin has experience working other big men and that should come in handy here as he meets the beastly Black Taurus.
