The Yardy Boyz tandem of Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) World Champion Rickey Shane Page and Alex Ohlson return to Freelance and are looking to get a foothold in the Freelance Tag Team title scene. In a huge tag team match-up, Page leads his team into battle with former Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) World Champion Robert Anthony (aka Egotistico Fantastisco) and his sidekick, Frank the Clown. RSP faces Anthony for the first time since a singles match back in 2016, at Freelance Feelmonger.

Elayna Black vs. Laynie Luck

Elayna Luck has been making waves in the women’s scene in the Midwest of late, working for the likes RISE Wrestling, EVOLVE, and others, and the rising superstar is facing another star in the making in Laynie Luck, who worked the Texas indies early on, before exploding nationally, where she now works for Zelo Pro, RISE Wrestling, Glory Pro, and many more. A great showcase of two women’s wrestlers to keep an eye on in 2020.

Kenny Sutra vs. Darin Corbin

It wasn’t too long ago that these two men were part of the same stable, The Take-It Homewreckers, as Minnesota’s Darin Corbin engaged in a turf war with Midwest veteran and fellow Minnesota wrestler Arik Cannon. But Kenny Sutra has since departed the stable and is now at odds with his former leader, and on Friday night, a Grudge Match will try and settle the emotions following a nasty break-up.

With Arik Cannon now moved on from his gang war against Take-It Homewreckers, he’s ready to re-establish his singles career in Freelance by taking on one of the company’s best. Isaias Velazquez is a Midwest veteran and former 2x Freelance World Champion, who is equally looking to get back in the hunt for Freelance’s top prize.

In order to select the new #1 Contender to Kylie Rae‘s Freelance World Championship, Freelance Wrestling is holding an 8-man scramble, with the winner moving on to face Kylie in the main event. Gregory Irons is a long-standing Midwest veteran who was trained by NXT Superstar Johnny Gargano and continues to be a presence in Freelance, as well as Canada’s A1 Wrestling. Speaking of A1, one of their biggest stars, Kobe Durst has seen a huge 2019 in the US indies, where he’s been a force in the Midwest with the likes of Freelance and Black Label Pro. Danhausen‘s magical end of 2019 has carried over into 2020, where the Smiling Enigma is looking to be one of the year’s absolute breakouts. Kody Lane is another product of the Texas indie scene, where he’s a regular with Inspire Pro, Heavy Metal Wrestling and ACW. Project Monix has got to be ready to break out in 2020, as he’s shown to be a stellar prospect the past few years in the Midwest. Acid Jazz is normally a tag team grappler with Bryce Benjamin in The N-Words, but on Friday, the Illinois native looks to jumpstart his singles resume. Like Durst, Mark Wheeler is a Canadian indie star on the rise, who continues to excite in the Midwest. Atticus Cogar is also seeing his stock rise since splitting from The Cogars, and has been impressing of late with GCW, Pennsylvania’s International Wrestling Cartel (IWC), and Buffalo’s Empire State Wrestling (ESW).

Ever since departing All Elite Wrestling, the world has been Kylie Rae’s oyster, reclaiming the Freelance World title from “All Ego” Ethan Page in December. She’ll have a tough battle, as she won’t know who her challenger is until after the Scramble match.
