After a weekend confirming what we already knew, NXT is the superior brand, one has to wonder what’s in store for the black and gold brand. With two title matches and a world of possibilities lets not hesitate and get straight into the action.

This week’s episode kicked off with the entire roster celebrating their successful Survivor Series debut, but this was interrupted by The Undisputed Era. Adam Cole ran down the roster, stating The Undisputed Era was the reason for NXT success this weekend and beyond. This lead to Tommaso Ciampa reminding Cole that the Era had lost at War Games, and officially set his sights back on the NXT Championship promising nothing would stand in his way. This brought out Finn Balor, who stated he was standing in his way setting up the nights main event.
Keith Lee grabbed a mic demanding O’Reilly and Fish make their way to the ring. While Lee took control early, it came at a cost. Keith Lee tossed Fish out of the ring, but seemingly injured the star as a result. Thankfully Roderick Strong made it to the ring to keep the match fair.
Lee and Dijakovic had multiple highlights throughout including an impressive suplex toss. The powerhouses seemed to have the belts won until Adam Cole made his entrance. In an attempt to prevent Cole from interfering Lee hit him with a pounce, knocking him into the second row. With Lee and Dijakovic awestruck. this allowed The Undisputed Era to hit “The High Low” for the pin to retain.
DAKOTA KAI CONTINUES HER RAMPAGE
Candice LeRae looked to gain revenge for her friend Tegan Nox against Dakota Kai. LeRae was aggressive early blasting Kai right from the get-go not letting her opponent get comfortable. That all changed after a series of unprotected big boots to the head from Kai.
The women would trade control of the match, each landing brutal strikes. LeRae started to gain the edge and looked to nail Kai with a suicide dive. Kai though blasted Lerae with Nox’s knee brace as soon as her head went between the ropes. She looked to continue her assault, but the referee took the brace from her.
Not satisfied with the damage she’d done, Dakota grabbed a chair from ringside looking to blast Lerae. Fortunately, Rhea Ripley ran out to make the save, kicking the chair out of Kai’s hand. Ripley tried to goad Kai into attacking her but to no avail.
LIO RUSH RETAINS IN SHOW STEALER AGAINST AKIRA TOZAWA
Lio Rush looked to continue his dominant run against Akira Tozawa. The chemistry these two men have is unbelievable! Nailing strikes that looked harder than some MMA fights, and keeping a speed few stars could keep up with.
Tozawa was well highlighted nailing some high impact senton, and expertly countering Rush’ “Come Up” into a german suplex. Rush would retain the title though after hitting “The Final Hour” twice to his game challenger for the win.

XIA LI BEATS VANESSA BOURNE…RHEA RIPLEY AND SHAYNA BASZLER FACE OFF

Vanessa Bourne looked to get payback on Xia Li for breaking her friend Aliyah’s nose. There wasn’t much to this match as Li quickly picked up the win, and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir made their way to the ring. The three women attacked Li, and while Li held her own she was quickly overwhelmed.
Baszler grabbed a mic bragging about how she beat both Becky Lynch and Bayley at Survivor Series. As she looked to continue bragging about her success, Rhea Ripley made her way to the ring. Riley paid the champion a congratulated the champion on her win, before reminding Shayna that Ripley had beaten her the night before. The champion and challenger exchanged threats as Baszler made her way to the back.

A dream match among many longtime fans Tommaso Ciampa faced off against “The Prince” Finn Balor. While a fairly entertaining back and forth match, there sadly wasn’t a lot of time for these two to put together the match they’re capable of. Ciampa was on the verge of picking up the win, but Adam Cle decided to make an appearance.
Cole through the belt into the ring, with Balor inadvertently dropping Ciampa headfirst onto the belt only for a two count though. While the referee was handing the belt to a ringside official, Cole blasted Ciampa with an enziguri followed by a 1916 from Balor for the win. Cole posed over Ciampa throwing up the Undisputed Era sign. Balor seemed to join him throwing up his signature guns taunt, before blasting Cole with a Pele kick. Balor exited the ring making it clear, he wants no part of the Undisputed Era.
