Team MONIX (Project MONIX, EFFY, Joey Ryan & Alex Ohlson) vs. Team Velazquez (Isaias Velazquez, Eye Candy Elliott, Dean Jacobs & Ashtyn Braven)

A massive eight man tag team match, as one of the Midwest’s rising stars, Project MONIX, leads a team against Midwest veteran (and former 2x Freelance World Champion) Isaias Velasquez lead their teams into battle. MONIX is a 2x IWA Mid South Junior Heavyweight Champion and one of the top emerging stars out of the Midwest and he’s got a team of emerging stars in EFFY and Alex Ohlson, plus IMPACT Wrestling‘s Joey Ryan. Velasquez has partnered with the Freelance Legacy Champion Eye Candy Elliott, but is also bringing in some young talent in prospects Dean Jacobs and Ashtyn Braven. Should be a fun match with a nice mix of young and veteran talents.

#NoNewFriends (Danny Adams & Keith Lee Davidson) vs. Pump Patrol (Curt Matthews & Jared Wayne)

No New FriendsKeith Lee Davidson has returned to the ring after being off for most of the year, but since rejoining with Danny Adams, the duo has returned to glory, capturing the Glory Pro United Glory (tag team) titles. Now they’re looking to acquire more gold and on Friday they look to take another step to contention for the Freelance Tag Team titles. Their opponents are making their Freelance debut on Friday, after Pump Patrol has spent the last few years working in the Southeast, with the likes of Houston’s Reality of Wrestling, Austin’s Inspire Pro, and New Orleans’ WildKat Pro Wrestling. Earlier this month they captured the WildKat Tag Team titles. Two hungry teams looking to raise their stock in the Freelance tag team division.

GPA vs. Arik Cannon

Two Midwest stars collide, as GPA faces off against Arik Cannon. Geoffrey Percival Austere – better known as GPA – is a former Freelance World Champion and a longtime veteran of the Chicago indie scene, having competed for Freelance, GALLI Lucha, and Chicago Style Wrestling (CSW). These two have only crossed paths once before – and that was with both representing Freelance in a tag match at Freelance vs Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) event back in 2017. Now that Arik Cannon has moved on from his rivalry with Darin Corbin and the Take It Homewreckers, he’ll be competing to move up the ladder to the World title, but first he has to get past a former Freelance World Champion.

Darin Corbin vs. Kenny Sutra

Speaking of the Take It Home Wreckers, Darin Corbin has turned his back on Kenny Sutra as a member of the stable now that Mikey! has returned to the fold. Sutra took offense to the way he was ousted and is now facing the group’s leader – and another former Freelance World Champion – in singles competition. It won’t be easy for Sutra, as the other members of the group, Mikey and Bucky Collins, will probably be on hand to make sure the former member tastes defeat.

Kobe Durst vs. Gregory Iron

A feud that has rocked Canada’s Alpha-1 spills into the US Midwest! Kobe Durst lost his A1 Alpha Male Championship to Gregory Irons last week, so this feud with have some added heat going in on Friday. Durst held the Alpha Male title for 350-days before losing this past Sunday and he’ll be sure to be looking for revenge against the loss. The Canadian indie star has been exploding in the Midwest the past year and now that’s lost his A1 gold, he’ll be looking to create himself an opportunity to get in the Freelance World title picture. Gregory Irons is a long-standing Midwest veteran and with Durst’s A1 title now around his waist, he’ll do anything in his power to show that last Sunday’s victory is anything but a fluke.

GALLI Championship Scramble: Gringo Loco (c) vs. Aeroboy vs. Joe Alonzo vs. Golden Dragon vs. Bandolero vs. Jake Lander

In a rare occurrence, this Friday will see another Chicago promotion, GALLI Lucha, having their title defended on a Freelance card. Major League Wrestling (MLW)‘s Gringo Loco – a long time veteran of the Chicago scene – will defend his GALLI Championship in a 6-person scramble. Aeroboy is a veteran from the Mexican indies, where he’s been a regular with Desastre Total Ultraviolento (DTU), The Crash Lucha, and others. He’s also competed in the US with Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). Joe Alonzo is a 22-year old rising star in the Illinois scene, while Golden Dragon is a longtime regular with GALLI. Bandolero is a native of Puerto Rico, but he’s spent over a decade in the Chicago scene with GALLI. Jake Lander is another rising star in the Midwest, where he’s a part of Blood Diamond with Kobe Durst and his tag partner, Tre LeMar – who just lost their Black Label Pro Tag Team titles last week. He’s also the reigning ZERO1 USA Heavyweight Champion in Chicago, so adding more hometown gold will keep him focused.

The unique pairing of Shane Sabre and Space Monkey – known as Space Pirates – have had a strong 2019 solidifying them as one of the best tag teams in not only their native Canada but in the US Midwest as well. Apart from being the reigning Freelance Tag Team Champions, they also still hold tag team gold in Lucha Toronto. This is on top of their other accolades this year, which saw them capture Black Label Pro Tag Team titles, A1 Tag Team Championships, and Capital City Championship Combat (C4) Tag Team belts. On Friday, they face one of the best tag teams in the US in The Work Horsemen. It was the team of JD Drake and Anthony Henry that the Space Pirates defeated back August, and now the Horsemen are looking to finally recapture their tag titles.

“All Ego” Ethan Page won the Freelance World Championship this past April and his crossed over 200 days as Freelance Champion. Similar to the Space Monkeys vs Work Horsemen match, Page is facing the person he originally won the belt from, in Kylie Rae. Kylie Rae returned to Freelance Wrestling in September after departing All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in June, and made an immediate impact upon her return, defeating Isais Velasquez at Freelance’s Game of Genders event. Last month, she outlasted some big talent at Things That Go Bump In The Ringwhere she won the #1 Contenders match. It’s been a rematch months in the making and this Friday, Kylie Rae looks to become a 2x Freelance World Champion.
