Wardlow Makes AEW Dynamite Debut

On Wednesday’s All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Dynamite, MJF had a talk with AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, which featured a lengthy classic promo from MJF about the perils of Cody Rhodes, before MJF and Jericho debated over whether or not the younger star would join Jericho’s Inner Circle or not. Before a decision was made, Cody Rhodes entered the ring to confront his former protegee. Jericho departed the ring, but MJF was far from alone against Cody – with his eyes intently on MJF, Cody was attacked from behind by a debuting Wardlow (he’d only been seen in vignettes). It was soon revealed that Wardlow was now the official muscle for MJF.

Wardlow’s AEW debut had been teased as far back as April, when Cody mentioned in an episode of Road to Double or Nothing they were looking at Wardlow, and then he was teased again in an episode of Road to Fyter Fest. During All Outhis first vignette aired, signaling his impending arrival.
