Identity Of Erick Rowan’s Opponent On WWE Raw – Soner Dursun

Soner Dursun

On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, former SmackDown Tag Team Champion Erick Rowan picked up a dominating victory over a local enhancement talent, marking his first televised victory since the September 24th edition of SmackDown where he defeated former comrade Daniel Bryan. The enhancement talent in question was British indie wrestler, “The Turkish Wolf” Soner Dursun.

Soner is a regular face to fans of FutureShock Wrestling (FSW), Tidal Championship Wrestling (TCW), and TNT Extreme Wrestling. After making his debut in the early 2010s, he would be found mainly wrestling in north-west England, going on to become the inaugural FutureShock Adrenaline Champion in February 2015 after beating both Noah and one half of the first NXT UK Tag Team Champions James Drake in the finals of a tournament.

Success would continue for Dursun as he then went on to win both FutureShock’s 2015 Lotto Thunder tournament and the 2016 Young Dragon Tournament from Britannia Wrestling Promotions (BWP), while also lifting the Grand Pro Wrestling (GPW) Tag Team Championships alongside his Hate League partner Danxig. That year ended on a high for Soner, as he would become a two-time FSW Adrenaline Champion in December after he was victorious over Xander Cooper.

In more recent years, Dursun has been working around England a whole lot more, becoming well acquainted with fans in Preston City Wrestling (PCW) and New Generation Wrestling (NGW) amongst several others. 2019 alone has saw him win his second Lotto Thunder tournament for FutureShock Wrestling after overcoming “Smashmouth” Chris Ridgeway in the finals this past April, and then went on to win both the FSW Championship and the TNT IGNition Championship within the space of two weeks.

With his third Adrenaline Championship coming at the expense of Joey Hayes two months ago, Soner Dursun finds himself in possession of both the men’s singles titles in FutureShock Wrestling at the time of writing. Now, Soner can add a WWE debut to his list of accolades.
