“Fan” Who Threw Drink At MJF Identified As Indie Wrestler Alan Angels

Alan Angels

One of the biggest moments of the night at AEW Full Gear was MJF turning heel on Cody.  The raucous crowd was NOT happy with MJF and one fan, in particular, made his feelings known by throwing a drink at MJF.  Most fans agree this was a perfect cherry on top of a well-done heel turn.  As it turns out the fan in question was actually Georgia-based independent wrestler Alan Angels.

Alan Angels is twenty-one years of age and was trained in part by indie veteran and Lucha Underground alumni AR Fox.  He has been a regular for promotions like Southern Fried Championship WrestlingACTION Wrestling, and Southern Honor Wrestling and was a competitor in the 2018 Scenic City Future Showcase, losing in the first round to Marko Stunt in a triple threat match.

2019 has already been a big year for Angels as he captured the SHW championship in February and would hold it for five months, defending against the likes of AC Mack (one of the top stars of the southern indie scene), Kevin Ryan, and Shannon Moore, before dropping it to Mack in a heated street fight.  Now Angels can add this to his accolades as he has become a part of one of the hottest angles of the year.
