At SHIMMER 115 today in Berwyn, Illinois, Team Sea Stars – the sister duo of Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo – ended the reign of indie legends Mercedes Martinez & Cheerleader Melissa as SHIMMER Tag Team Champions at 377 days.

Team Sea Stars are two sisters from Providence, Rhode Island. The two lifelong wrestling fans started training in 2015 and began working in the New England indie circuit with the likes of Beyond Wrestling, Chaotic Wrestling, Pioneer Valley Promotions (PVP), New England Championship Wrestling (NECW), Blitzkrieg Pro, and others. In 2016, they got a huge opportunity when they joined CHIKARA, where they soon became fan favorites, as well as RISE Wrestling. In 2018, they made their SHIMMER debuts, and have continued to wrestle in more and more US indies around the country. Ashley Vox has also recently made a singles splash as part of the NWA roster on NWA Powerrr. This is the second tag team titles for the Sea Stars, who are also the reigning Sabotage Wrestling Tag Team Champions on the West Coast.
