Kylie Rae Returns To Wrestling Tonight With Freelance Wrestling

Kylie Rae

After months of speculation and worry, “Smiley” Kylie Rae is officially returning to wrestling. In a surprising but welcoming announcement, she will return at Freelance Wrestling‘s “Game of the Genders” tonight as she replaces Shotzi Blackheart to take on Isaias Velazquez.

Her last match came three months ago on Freelance’s “Freelance vs The World 5” show on June 14th. The last time there was any news regarding Rae was following All Elite Wrestling‘s All Out event when president Tony Khan told reporters that Rae requested and was granted her release from the company.

While reports of what happened are very little and hard to come by, what we can do is celebrate the fact she is back doing what she loves, which is wrestling. Rae is one to have a bright future in the business and one of the best overall humans as well. If you are going to the show tonight, it will surely be a treat to get to see Kylie Rae back in action against Velazquez.

Having Kylie back in the fold is great for professional wrestling as a whole, and while questions will come pouring out as to what happened with her and AEW as she was set to be one of the mainstays in their women’s division and their first signing, we can only cheer her on for just being back in the mix and being able to continue writing her story.

Welcome back to pro wrestling, Kylie. Wrestling and fans have certainly missed you.
